One of the most timeless and beautiful children's books of all time。 I keep coming back to it now as an adult and am reminded of my mother reading this to me as a little girl。 Beatrix Potter is a genius and her illustrations are so accurate yet so naturally anthropomorphized which accompany her stories perfectly。 One of the most timeless and beautiful children's books of all time。 I keep coming back to it now as an adult and am reminded of my mother reading this to me as a little girl。 Beatrix Potter is a genius and her illustrations are so accurate yet so naturally anthropomorphized which accompany her stories perfectly。 。。。more
Emily Kono,
This is a traditional story about four little Rabbits named Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail, and Peter。 Mischievous and disobedient young Peter Rabbit is chased through the garden of Mr。 McGregor。 He escapes and returns home to his mother Mrs。 Rabbit who puts him to bed after giving him some chamomile tea。 The moral of the story is to listen to your parents because they want to keep you safe。
Laura Chowns,
Great for kids!
lainpilled,

Savannah Crider,
This book is super cute and children will love it incorporated into their elementary classroom。 The story is about Peter Rabbit going against his mothers rule and adventuring under Mr。 McGregor's gate and getting into his vegetables。 This book tells the story of how Peter Rabbit escapes and gets himself out of the hole he has dug himself into。 The illustrations are wonderful。 This book is super cute and children will love it incorporated into their elementary classroom。 The story is about Peter Rabbit going against his mothers rule and adventuring under Mr。 McGregor's gate and getting into his vegetables。 This book tells the story of how Peter Rabbit escapes and gets himself out of the hole he has dug himself into。 The illustrations are wonderful。 。。。more

Genre: Traditional FantasyGrade: Pre-K - 1This story is such a classic and a very good read! It involved everything you would need in a story for this age group。 There is a plot that can be easily tracked, a lesson learned, and some humor involved as well。 Very fun to ask questions to students throughout the story and allow them to make connections to this adventurous folktale。
Aarvik,
Nice story to read for growing kids。
Millie Joan Leworthy,

A cute and beautiful tale for little children。 I read it aloud for my baby girl to hear it from the tummy, hope she enjoyed it as much as I did ♥️
Novita Wingtyas,
The book is preferred amongst children than the movie adaptation。 The book really deserved a kid-friendly book while the movie, addressed for a mature audience。 I love the illustration, its vintage yet beautiful。 Took me 2 decades to read an amazing book like this just because our Literature and Film lecturer told us to do so。 Shoutout to Mr。 Eros for introducing me to this book, and my mum who kept her childhood Peter Rabbit book!
Alexis Kun,
Es un bonito libro fácil de leer y bueno
Jane Roxanne Beamon,
Read in order to refresh my memory。 Absolutely charming!
Jim Pownall,
I'd give this 5 starts but - in the modern day, and for a children's book - it's a little on the long and wordy side。 However, a classic and a nice addition if you or your child has recently watched the films! Novi lestari,

I know I've read this but I couldn't tell you when。 In reading The Journal of Beatrix Potter it seemed necessary to revisit these。 I bought them when my oldest was a tiny baby and I remember them ending up everywhere and him not liking them and in reading this now I realize。。。I think in our modern era we give these to kids the wrong age。 We mistake "small" for "board book" and give them to the todder and early preK set who simply don't understand them at all。 A six year old? ➳ This is one of my favorite stories of all time。 My mother used to read this to me all the time。 A few years ago, I had a distant memory of some book about a rabbit and a bunch of carrots, but I couldn't remember what it was。 A dream? I asked my brother, & he couldn't recall。 I asked my mother, and she suggested possibly The Velveteen Rabbit, which she'd read to us as kids。 I read that one, & that wasn't it (although I loved it。) Finally I stumbled on Beatrix Potter, & as soon as I saw the pict ➳ This is one of my favorite stories of all time。 My mother used to read this to me all the time。 A few years ago, I had a distant memory of some book about a rabbit and a bunch of carrots, but I couldn't remember what it was。 A dream? I reread it & knew the pictures by heart, & I could recall the word "MacGregor," so apparently I could read the last time my mother read it to me。 I told my mother all this yesterday, & she perked up at the word "MacGregor" and my description of carrots。 I REMEMBER THAT BOOK, said she。 I READ THAT TO YOU。 So the truth of the matter is out。 (WE BOTH STRONGLY RECALL MACGREGOR。 THAT IS THE SECRET PASSWORD。)Naughty characters are most interesting。 Peter Rabbit doesn't follow the rules。 x 。。。more
